Has there been documented improvements or case studies involving dogs with Chronic Kidney Disease who have been on the Kidney Support diet?

Yes. We conducted a study involving eight dogs over a 30-day period to assess the impact of the Kidney Support diet on dogs who have been diagnosed with up to IRIS Stage 2 Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). The results of the study demonstrated improvements in kidney health biomarkers:

Creatinine: Showed a 25% decrease in average values (1.88 before, 1.40 after).

SDMA: Indicated a 27% decrease in average values (24.8μg/dL before, 19.1μg/dL after).

Moreover, 87% of dog owners self-reported improvements in their dogs' appetite, while 13% reported a stable appetite. The study also revealed an increase in microbiome diversity and micro-nutrient pathways, including the production of butyrate and the digestion of chondroitin.

These findings highlight the holistic benefits of the Kidney Support diet for dogs, showcasing positive outcomes in kidney health, appetite, and overall well-being.
