How much should I feed my cat?

Use our handy online food calculator to see how much food your cat needs a day.

Adult cat: Feed 1 tray of food, twice a day for every 5kg of adult cat body weight.

Kitten/Pregnant/Nursing cat: Double the amount for kittens, pregnant or nursing cats over 2-4 feedings a day.

Senior cat: Adjust portion according to appetite if you have a senior cat with lower metabolism.

(1 tray = 85g)

We do not recommend free-feeding your cat, as this means leaving food out for more than an hour, which allows bacteria to grow. Feeding frequently is preferred—especially for kittens and pregnant or nursing cats. Establishing a routine with scheduled feeding times is always beneficial for your cat.
