Is it normal that my white dog's mouth area is slightly yellow after eating your food?

Yes! It is completely natural for there to be a slight yellow tinge around your dog's mouth after he/she eats our meals. The yellow tinge in the food comes from the curcumin extract that is derived from turmeric. It has been included as it is a beneficial source of anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. The nature of curcumin extract is that it is highly pigmented which may lead to the natural colouring around the mouth area of dogs with whiter coats. This can be be easily wiped off with a damp cloth immediately after their meal.
